"Amok Island (born Amsterdam, 1983) is a multi-disciplinary artist from The Netherlands, based in North Fremantle, Western Australia. His work consists of murals, paintings on canvas, screen-printing and sculptural works. Since 2013 he started various ongoing sculptural projects using stainless steel and concrete, submerging concrete letter sculptures in marine environments around Western Australia, documenting the process of nature taking over and exploring the relationship between man(made) and nature."
