Andy Calabozo

Andy Calabozo distances himself from all other illustrators because he is endowed with a remarkable imagery that takes psychedelic forms that come to life on paper. Born in 1988 in Venezuela, Andy currently lives and works in Porto. He studied architecture at the University of Minho, failing to put aside his concern for geometric shapes and the creation of multiplying patterns, trying to escape the frames that house them. Create images that are roller coasters with layers of complex characters and loops about the absurdities of life. Enthusiastic about monochromatic, he transforms the process of constantly creating new characters in a dialogue with his own fertile mind, in an attempt to experience all the emotions of a complex and turbulent world.
