Born in Porto in 1988 and Master of Architecture by FAUP, the urban artist Frederico Draw uses cans as if they were brushes. He focuses essentially on the transposition of the human figure and body expression (anonymous faces, portraits of random people) to large scale. His work, as an artist and project curator, relies essentially on the study of street art as a transformation of empty spaces deprived of urban identity, rehabilitating and giving them new artistic values and cultural dynamics. Member of the Collective RUA since 2011, he’s one of the main figures of the realism associated with graffiti in Portugal.
