The exhibition "Between Heaven and Earth" invites you to explore Gerês through the eyes of Vírus, where the mountains serve as a connection point between heaven and earth. In this exhibition, mountains personify both the solidity and stability of the "earth", with imposing shapes and majestic presence, and the "heaven", with unreachable heights and peaks that point towards the unknown, symbolizing Virus's constant search for new forms of expression and style. Thus, the artist finds himself perpetually "between heaven and earth", navigating between the search for artistic authenticity and the pragmatic demands of the reality of the contemporary art world.
